Social responsibility
NORRES Schlauchtechnik has a long history of responsible behaviour towards the society we live in. We frequently participate in activities that benefit charitable organisations. We are extremely keen to support projects that help the socially disadvantaged, especially when they involve children. We also make an active contribution towards environmental protection.
NORRES Schlauchtechnik makes regular donations to “Noah's Ark”, a charity that describes itself as “a children’s hospice in the region and for the region”. The Ark’s concept, which is the only one of its kind anywhere in Germany, defines two main functions: to offer a haven for incurably ill children and to act as a short-term care centre for youngsters with severe disabilities. The aim is to assist the families concerned by providing professional care and respite for children and teenagers in the Noah's Ark centre. NORRES traditionally makes a donation to this deserving cause at Christmas.
At NORRES, all people are equal. All our staff benefit from the same opportunities. Their ethnic origin, religion, social background, age, sex or disabilities are considered to be irrelevant. NORRES maintains close links with a centre for handicapped people. Disabled staff carry out their work directly on the NORRES site and are therefore fully integrated in the life of the company.
The sustainable use of natural resources is firmly entrenched in NORRRES Schlauchtechnik's daily work processes. The move to our new “Am Stadthafen” facility coincided with extensive investments in eco-friendly production and HVAC technologies. Efficient insulation, double glazing, centrally controlled air conditioning with water chillers and production utilising heat recovery mean optimal protection for the environment. Since taking possession of the new and completely refurbished plant at the port of Gelsenkirchen in 2009, NORRES has succeeded in reducing the consumption of water, electricity and heating fuel dramatically – despite an almost fourfold increase in floor space.

Hoses produced for industrial vacuum cleaners
NORRES can off you Industry-specific hose solutions. NORRES industrial vacuum hoses composed of polyurethane, EVA, electrically conductive and antistatic, are suitable for use on industrial vacuum cleaners. These specific industry related hoses are able to withstand loads such as the extraction of hot or abrasive dirt, coal, dust, and liquids. The vacuum manufacturer relies on quality hose products to complete their unit. NORRES hoses offer the operator significant advantages over our competitors: For example, a longer service life and a significantly reduced replacement under maximum loads can be achieved.
Longer service life operating under the most extreme conditions
Flexibility and abrasion resistance are the essential hose properties for this specific industry application. The AIRDUC® PUR 351 EC is most suitable in this application due to its ease of handling and a long service life as well as an electrically conductive wall with electrical and surface resistance <10³ Ω. Our AIRDUC® PUR 355 EC for heavy duty applications has proven itself to be a great hose to use in operation. The suction hose is highly abrasion-resistant and ideally suited for the extraction of high throughput and abrasive substances. CONNECT 240 EC is the ideal supplement to both hose types. The soft sleeve to slide onto connectors or push into pipes is quick and easy to assemble. CONNECT 240 EC is reusable in a threaded version. In addition: CONNECT 240 EC is electrically conductive with an electrical and surface resistance <10³ Ω. With our CLAMP 212 EC grounding without exposing the spiral and without damaging hose is possible, it is easy and quick to assemble and as a special benefit: CLAMP 212 EC is reusable.
EVA hoses are another hose option that can endure extreme conditions. EVA 373 AS and EVA 373 EC are thus the typical hose for industrial vacuum cleaners: crush-resistant and highly flexible -available in antistatic or electrically conductive versions, ideally suited for the extraction of coal, dust, or similar explosive materials. Industrial vacuum cleaners within a hazardous area are optimally equipped with the AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS: The anti-static hose is flame-retardant according to UL94-V2 and DIN 4102-B1, with a permanently antistatic wall and certified according to TRGS 727 and ATEX 2014/34 / EU.
The AIRDUC® PUR 356 AS has always proven itself to be extremely abrasion resistant when processing bulk material. The special product feature: Its extreme abrasion resistance was achieved by targeting reinforcement underneath the wire and narrowing the hose pitch.
