Social responsibility
NORRES Schlauchtechnik has a long history of responsible behaviour towards the society we live in. We frequently participate in activities that benefit charitable organisations. We are extremely keen to support projects that help the socially disadvantaged, especially when they involve children. We also make an active contribution towards environmental protection.
NORRES Schlauchtechnik makes regular donations to “Noah's Ark”, a charity that describes itself as “a children’s hospice in the region and for the region”. The Ark’s concept, which is the only one of its kind anywhere in Germany, defines two main functions: to offer a haven for incurably ill children and to act as a short-term care centre for youngsters with severe disabilities. The aim is to assist the families concerned by providing professional care and respite for children and teenagers in the Noah's Ark centre. NORRES traditionally makes a donation to this deserving cause at Christmas.
At NORRES, all people are equal. All our staff benefit from the same opportunities. Their ethnic origin, religion, social background, age, sex or disabilities are considered to be irrelevant. NORRES maintains close links with a centre for handicapped people. Disabled staff carry out their work directly on the NORRES site and are therefore fully integrated in the life of the company.
The sustainable use of natural resources is firmly entrenched in NORRRES Schlauchtechnik's daily work processes. The move to our new “Am Stadthafen” facility coincided with extensive investments in eco-friendly production and HVAC technologies. Efficient insulation, double glazing, centrally controlled air conditioning with water chillers and production utilising heat recovery mean optimal protection for the environment. Since taking possession of the new and completely refurbished plant at the port of Gelsenkirchen in 2009, NORRES has succeeded in reducing the consumption of water, electricity and heating fuel dramatically – despite an almost fourfold increase in floor space.

Clean air with the perfect hose
Industrial environments using combustion engines are often operated indoors. The resulting exhaust gases must be extracted using exhaust gas extraction systems in order to ensure a safe and clean air transfer. This does not only depend on the correct selection of the fan or filter, but also the exhaust hose plays a critical role in these systems. An effective exhaust system is only as good as the exhaust hose!
Simply flexible - the entire range of exhaust hoses
Exhaust hoses are primarily used to route exhaust gases from vehicle engines and other equipment away from the operator. Exhaust hoses are used mainly in vehicle exhaust systems, overhead and underfloor exhaust systems as well as engine test stands in industrial workshops. In order to guarantee smooth and error-free use, the hoses must have certain properties, because reliability in-use and quality are important. This means that hot gases can be transported up to several hundred or even thousand degree Fahrenheit without damaging the hose material. A flexible hose shape is advantageous in order to withstand vibrations, impact and balancing effects from outside.
The NORRES portfolio of exhaust hoses serves many applications. For example, the PROTAPE® TPE 326 MEMORY is a highly flexible and compressible hose that has a flow-optimized outer protection profile which ensures the best delivery performance. That means: low pressure losses, reduced fan output and lower temperatures in the hose. Therefore: longer service life and lower operating costs are passed down to the customer and user.
Innovative and new: PROTAPE® TPE 325 WEAR STRIP is fabric-reinforced and has as a highly flexible and compressible hose with external abrasion protection via an external helix. Due to the outer special sliding surface, the hose maximizes floor space and has a prolonged service life and is easy to use. The patent pending bridge clamp CLAMP 210 BRIDGE CLAMP is the perfect complement to the PROTAPE® TPE 325 WEAR STRIP. The bridge clamp can be used for attaching externally corrugated spiral hoses and is easy to handle during operation.
NORRES clamping hoses are based on a patented design, which offers numerous product advantages, particularly in the case of heavy loads - especially for the range of exhaust hoses. Hoses, such as the CP HYP 450 PROTECT, with an outer protection profile, help to avoid the risk of lacquer damage when used in car workshops. The highly flexible exhaust hose with an outer protection profile has a high vibration resistance. This increases the service life and reduces the risk of downtime. The CP ARAMID 461 PROTECT combines our best hose characteristics as a clamping profile hose, especially when subjected to high loads and can be used for flue gas temperatures of up to 570 °F. Its aramid wall corresponds to the fire protection class M1 according to UNE 23.727-90. The CP HiTex 481 has very good heat resistance and can be used up to 1,300 °F for short periods of time and is flame retardant according to DIN 4102-B1.
The CLAMP 212 is the ideal hose connection for the field of exhaust gas extraction. The bridge clamp for attaching externally corrugated spiral hoses provides a practically leak-proof and secure clamping during use. This is ensured by their special bridge geometry. It is easy and quick to assemble - which makes it easy to handle in everyday working life.
