World innovation: NORRES is the first and only hose manufacturer who has certified hoses according to the new TRGS 727!

With the introduction of the new TRGS 727 NORRES proves itself again as an innovative leader in the production of our AIRDUC^®, PROTAPE^® and NORPLAST^® hoses as well as a troubleshooter for flexible hose system solutions. Because: NORRES is the first and only manufacturer who has certified AIRDUC^®, PROTAPE^® and NORPLAST^® hoses according to the new TRGS 727!

The TRGS 727 applies to assess and avoid ignition hazards due to electrostatic charging in hazardous areas. It applies also to select and carry out protective measures to avoid these dangers. The new TRGS 727 replaces the previous Technical rules for operating safety TRBS 2153 and updates it.

"We have quickly observed that hoses which were specified according to the old directive TRBS 2153 e.g. suitable for pneumatic transport of inflammable bulk material often no longer fulfilled the requirements of the new TRGS 727. In cooperation with the DEKRA EXAM Unit for explosion protection, we have further developed our products." said NORRES Managing Director Burkhard Mollen. NORRES has the world's first approval by the independent laboratory of DEKRA EXAM certified AIRDUC^®, PROTAPE^® and NORPLAST^® suction and transport tubes according to the new TRGS 727. For customers there are now certificates from an independent certification institute, for which hoses can be suitable for specific medias to be used in a hazardous areas.
