Range of applications in the food industry was expanded

Industrial hose systems, used in the food industry, are subject to very strict hygiene standards and their use is associated with significant conditions. Many NORRES food hoses are immediately and officially approved by an independent testing institute in accordance with the current Directive 10/2011.

New food grade approval expands application scope

Many food hoses manufactured by NORRES for use in the food industry, for example, the AIRDUC^® PUR 351 MHF or the AIRDUC^® PUR 355 MHF, were officially approved by an independent testing institute in accordance with the current Directive 10/2011 and therefore can now be used in many more applications in the food industry. Previously, the hoses were only approved for the transportation of dry food.

NORRES hoses for the food industry now are officially approved for dry, aqueous and acidic foods. The hoses are also suitable for recurrent contact with alcohol-containing foods with an alcohol content of 20 vol%. In addition, they are also approved for short-term contact with fatty foods, spirits (alcohol content: > 20 Vol%), milk and dairy products as well as dry foods with fatty substances on the surface such as nuts, for example.

Approval under Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 once again shows that the willingness and readiness to innovate together with the expertise and high quality materials and technology are what NORRES believes are the best prerequisites for quality products according to the latest regulations and directives.
