NORRES Schlauchtechnik has a long history of responsible behaviour towards the society we live in. We frequently participate in activities that benefit charitable organisations. We are extremely keen to support projects that help the socially disadvantaged, especially when they involve children. We also make an active contribution towards environmental protection.

NORRES Schlauchtechnik makes regular donations to “Noah's Ark”, a charity that describes itself as “a children’s hospice in the region and for the region”. The Ark’s concept, which is the only one of its kind anywhere in Germany, defines two main functions: to offer a haven for incurably ill children and to act as a short-term care centre for youngsters with severe disabilities. The aim is to assist the families concerned by providing professional care and respite for children and teenagers in the Noah's Ark centre. NORRES traditionally makes a donation to this deserving cause at Christmas.

At NORRES, all people are equal. All our staff benefit from the same opportunities. Their ethnic origin, religion, social background, age, sex or disabilities are considered to be irrelevant. NORRES maintains close links with a centre for handicapped people. Disabled staff carry out their work directly on the NORRES site and are therefore fully integrated in the life of the company.

The sustainable use of natural resources is firmly entrenched in NORRRES Schlauchtechnik's daily work processes. The move to our new “Am Stadthafen” facility coincided with extensive investments in eco-friendly production and HVAC technologies. Efficient insulation, double glazing, centrally controlled air conditioning with water chillers and production utilising heat recovery mean optimal protection for the environment. Since taking possession of the new and completely refurbished plant at the port of Gelsenkirchen in 2009, NORRES has succeeded in reducing the consumption of water, electricity and heating fuel dramatically – despite an almost fourfold increase in floor space.

New services relating to robust industrial hoses for the bulk goods industry

NORRES presents further benefits to customers at the 2015 Schüttgut Bulk Solids Fair

The SCHÜTTGUT bulk solids fair will be held for the seventh time on the 4th and 5th of November 2015 in the Dortmund Westfalenhallen conference centre. The NORRES conference team is pleased to showcase a variety of hose solutions for conveying and extracting bulk solids as well as new services: from now on, using the NORRES e-portal (no separate login required), customers will get the opportunity to quickly check the availability of goods or view the status of one’s own work order by entering the order number. The new system will offer transparency and save time. 24/48 delivery and the 48-hour assembly services will provide customers with even more benefits. NORRES Schlauchtechnik will be available in Hall 6, Stand R 59 to provide information on these services as well as products tailored to the bulk solids sector.

NORRES e-portal – an innovative addition to our services:

The new NORRES e-portal now gives partners of NORRES Schlauchtechnik the following decisive advantages without needing to register:

  • Querying current warehouse inventory of a desired good, giving an ever quicker overview of orders
  • Current work order status and shipments can be tracked live at any time using the order number

 

The data is efficiently made available from the central warehouse in Germany and all the important information on offers and orders can be viewed at a glance. The NORRES e-portal is even more extensive and useful for registered customers. This innovation and the transparency it creates ensures an enhanced service: immediate information on NORRES hoses and complete hose solutions is meaningfully supported for daily business and meets the highest requirements of customers and partners in today’s comprehensive world of information. The time saved will increase the efficiency of your organisation and result in cost savings.

Shipping and assembly services offer security to buyers:

NORRES Schlauchtechnik guarantees either a 24 or 48-hour shipping service on selected stock goods from all our locations. Orders made with the ‘24h’ or ‘48h’ NORRES icons leave the NORRES branch location within the guaranteed time at the specified wall thickness. If the deadline is not kept, NORRES will assume the shipping costs of the affected order. This applies to a maximum of 100 metres per order. These additional services will provide buyers with peace of mind. Likewise NORRES Schlauchtechnik guarantees a 48-hour timeframe for the installation of connecting parts within a selected product range. Should the deadline not be met, NORRES will assume the shipping costs of the affected delivery for a maximum of 10 items per order.
