Social responsibility
NORRES Schlauchtechnik has a long history of responsible behaviour towards the society we live in. We frequently participate in activities that benefit charitable organisations. We are extremely keen to support projects that help the socially disadvantaged, especially when they involve children. We also make an active contribution towards environmental protection.
NORRES Schlauchtechnik makes regular donations to “Noah's Ark”, a charity that describes itself as “a children’s hospice in the region and for the region”. The Ark’s concept, which is the only one of its kind anywhere in Germany, defines two main functions: to offer a haven for incurably ill children and to act as a short-term care centre for youngsters with severe disabilities. The aim is to assist the families concerned by providing professional care and respite for children and teenagers in the Noah's Ark centre. NORRES traditionally makes a donation to this deserving cause at Christmas.
At NORRES, all people are equal. All our staff benefit from the same opportunities. Their ethnic origin, religion, social background, age, sex or disabilities are considered to be irrelevant. NORRES maintains close links with a centre for handicapped people. Disabled staff carry out their work directly on the NORRES site and are therefore fully integrated in the life of the company.
The sustainable use of natural resources is firmly entrenched in NORRRES Schlauchtechnik's daily work processes. The move to our new “Am Stadthafen” facility coincided with extensive investments in eco-friendly production and HVAC technologies. Efficient insulation, double glazing, centrally controlled air conditioning with water chillers and production utilising heat recovery mean optimal protection for the environment. Since taking possession of the new and completely refurbished plant at the port of Gelsenkirchen in 2009, NORRES has succeeded in reducing the consumption of water, electricity and heating fuel dramatically – despite an almost fourfold increase in floor space.

Modern and innovative - the new product catalogue
The new NORRES catalogue provides compact and clear information. The result is impressive: Industrial hoses for all applications and industries are presented on 100 pages. Both the proven products and numerous innovations. The new catalogue concept is innovative and combines the interaction between "print" and "digital".
The NORRES catalogue - print and digital
The printed catalogue of the NORRES Group has a long tradition and is still highly appreciated by customers. For this reason, the presentation of the products in printed form has been continued. The idea behind the new catalogue is innovative - and has been successfully implemented: The optimisation and digitalisation of value chains with the innovative connection between catalogue and internet. In doing so, resources were conserved: the catalogue comprises only 100 pages and is printed on FSC®-certified paper. The basic idea of combining the aspects of "print" and "digital" was the leading factor. For this purpose, the number of pages has not been increased unnecessarily and more emphasis has been placed on data that can always be found up-to-date on the NORRES homepage: Each product in the catalogue is provided with a QR code, which optimally complements the catalogue in its function: The QR codes link the world of the printed pages with the online offer of the NORRES Group - as well as the many additional information of the entire product range available there. Via smartphone, the user can scan the QR codes in the catalogue and is forwarded accordingly and thus always receives up-to-date product information on the NORRES homepage (www.norres.com).
NORRES hose solutions - innovative and reliable
NORRES is known by its customers as a trendsetter for flexible hose system solutions that are intelligent and reliable. Increased service life and customer-specific applications are the path that the company group has consistently followed for years. The focus is always on offering added value to customers and partners - while at the same time providing high utility value and low costs. Because: Creative and innovative ideas become a success when they result in solutions that meet the needs of the customer and offer long-lasting benefits. For this purpose, the NORRES portfolio has been expanded with 50 new products, two new patents (WEAR STRIP + hybrid grounding strand) and over 330 new stock items. A further bonus: The integration of the air conditioning and ventilation hoses offers NORRES customers a decisive expansion of the industry and also an extension of the areas of application.

These include a 24/48-hour delivery service, which creates maximum flexibility, and modern delivery concepts with our service partners.
