Christmas donation for a good cause

Just in time for Christmas, the NORRES / Baggerman Group continues a tradition and supports the Gelsenkirchen children's hospice Arche Noah with a monetary donation. With this, the group of companies continues an annual heartfelt project and supports the work of the only children's hospice in the region.

Social commitment with tradition

The commitment to Arche Noah is a firm tradition for the group of companies, and the entire Arche Noah team is once again delighted with the donation of over €5,000. As the corona pandemic continues to make it necessary to keep a distance at Christmas 2021, a personal donation handover will be waived. "Unfortunately, we have to keep our distance again and do without personal contact in this context. I am all the more pleased this year that we at NORRES / Baggerman can once again make this valuable contribution with our donation tradition and offer support to the sick children and their families," reports authorised signatory Marina Haarer.

Anja Dörner, Divisional Director of the children's hospice, sends a heartfelt thank you to the NORRES / Baggerman Group on behalf of Arche Noah´s for this consistent support over the years: "This year, Arche Noah´s has invested the money from the 2020 Christmas donation in a Snoezelen trolley. The Snoezelen trolley is a real enrichment in everyday life for the team at Arche Noah's and for the children!" The mobile and fully equipped Snoezelen trolley makes it possible to transform any room of Arche Noah's into a Snoezelen room within a short time. All the children's senses can be touched through various objects in the trolley: Seeing, hearing, feeling. The Snoezelen trolley thus becomes a pleasant and relaxing experience for the children of Arche Noah.

Arche Noah

Arche Noah is a unique institution in Germany with two functions: It is a short-term facility for children with severe multiple disabilities and at the same time a hospice for terminally ill children. The aim of the facility is to relieve and support the families by providing professional care and nursing for the children and young people at Arche Noah.
Arche Noah in Gelsenkirchen describes itself as a "house of life" - this is reflected in the bright, inviting and colourful design of the premises and the outdoor facilities.
