On June 21, 2018, the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute once again awarded successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication with the German Brand Award – with a view to advance the winners and the entire brand economy. The awarding of the German Brand Award was decided by an independent panel of experts from business and science. The best product and corporate brands receive the award within an industry. NORRES is honoured in the category "Industry, Machines & Engineering" for its success in brand management and brand communication and receives the German Brand Award.
