High temperature fabric hoses
NORRES fabric hoses (CP hoses: clamping profile) are hoses made of different fabrics and are mainly used in the high temperature range and for suction purposes.
Production
On our CP machines, we produce clamping profile hoses from a wide variety of fabrics. These can have a single-layer, two-layer or even three-layer structure. During production, the fabric tapes are fixed in a clamping profile (as shown in the illustrations below).
The special feature of this construction is its enormous flexibility. The wall is protected against abrasion by the metal clamping profile. A wire integrated between the fabric and the clamping profile prevents it from slipping out.
In addition, constructions and properties of NORRES clamping profile hoses can be customised on request.
Product variability
Single-layer clamping
The abrasion protection is achieved in this manufacturing process by means of an external clamping profile, which gives increased stability. The resulting teardrop-shaped geometry ensures high surface moment of inertia, which then gives the fabric hose a high peak compressive strength as well as a high negative pressure load capacity. At the same time, the round clamping profile achieves a high and even distribution of the clamping force, no punctiform stress peaks and increased tightness. The rounded clamping profile ends ensure a high dynamic load capacity and overpressure load capacity.
Multi-layer
In addition to single-layer clamping, a multi-layer wall structure can also be selected by the customer. In this case, it is possible to achieve further improvements in the end product, such as better tightness, thermal insulation and soundproofing, by specifically adjusting the product properties.
Variants
The fabric hose types PROTECT, ARAMID, HITEX and PTFE are manufactured with an outer protective profile. This protective profile is made of elastic material, serves as impact and abrasion protection and can be supplied in any colour. The specially developed and protected geometry includes a firm clamping which provides security against push-off. Furthermore, the thickening at the end of the profile provides additional security against push-off.
Properties
As broad as the range of NORRES fabric hoses is, as diverse is the possible use in many industrial sectors. The product properties vary depending on the hose type, but all of our fabric hoses are developed to meet the highest requirements.
The properties at a glance:
- tension-proof connection
- even distribution of the clamping force
- long service lives
- Heat resistance at continuous temperatures (for some fabric hose types)
Applications
Fabric hoses are used in a variety of applications, for example:
- Extraction systems
- Dust and fume extraction
- Chemical industry
- High temperature extraction
- as EC variant for explosion-hazardous areas
Shipping
We guarantee: Products marked with the 24h or 48h symbol will be shipped within 24 or within 48 hours. If we cannot keep this promise, we will pay the shipping costs of the ordered goods.
