Hoses for industrial vacuum cleaners

Applications and properties:
Similar to vacuum cleaners for household use, industrial vacuum cleaners are used to remove dirt. However, industrial vacuum cleaners and, in particular, the suction hose hereby used, are subjected to higher loads, such as, for example, hot dirt, coarse abrasive dirt or liquids, and combinations thereof. In order to withstand these loads, suction hoses made of polyurethane or EVA are particularly suitable, for example our AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS (HD) or EVA 373 models.

Frequently asked questions:
Do I need antistatic or electrically conductive hoses?
If the hoses are to be used in non-hazardous areas, the products EVA 373 or SuperFlex 372 can be used. If, however, carbon dusts or similar explosive materials are aspirated, the antistatic or electrically conductive versions EVA 373 AS / EVA 373 EC or the proven NORRES products AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS (HD), AIRDUC® PUR 355 EC (HD) and AIRDUC® PUR-INOX 351 FOOD-AS (MD) should be used.

Technical details and standards:
All antistatic hoses which are presented in this section have the following properties:
• Permanently antistatic wall: electrical and surface resistance < 109 ohm or < 1011 ohm for EVA 373 AS
• Certified according to TRGS 727 and ATEX 2014/34/EU
