Applications and properties:
NORRES has developed the PROTAPE® PUR-C 335 FOOD-AS FLAT especially for use on screening machines. The abrasion- and vibration-resistant polyurethane hose has a food-safe and permanently antistatic wall. Thus the 335 FOOD-AS FLAT can be used for the transport of food as well as in explosion hazard areas . It does not matter whether it is used on vibration screening machines, tumbler screening machines, plansifters or windsifters, the PROTAPE® PUR-C 335 FOOD-AS FLAT is characterised by a very long service life and flexibility.
As alternative products we offer further hoses. These include in particular the PROTAPE® models PUR 301 AS (XLD), PUR-INOX 330 FOOD-AS (LD) and PUR 330 FOOD (LD).
Frequently asked questions:
Which hose type is used on tumbler screening machines?
For this, the hose PROTAPE® PUR-C 335 FOOD-AS FLAT can be used.
Why should hoses be resistant to microbes?
In non-microbe-resistant hoses microbial contact may occur on contact with organic materials such as soil, whereby the hose is then no longer usable.
Technical details and standards:
All antistatic hoses which are presented in this section have the following properties:
• Permanently antistatic wall: according to ISO 8031 electrical and surface resistance < 109 Ohm
• Certified according to TRGS 727 and ATEX 2014/34/EU
Further information on electrostatic charging can be found here.
The food suitability of our hoses was tested by an independent testing laboratory.
The raw materials and additives used by NORRES comply with the following official guidelines:
• EU Directive 10/2011, EC 1935/2004 and 2015/174
• FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010
