Applications and properties:
If the hose is used for pneumatic grain conveyors or for the conveyance of seed and fertilizer, the abrasion resistance and also a long service life play an important role. We therefore recommend the AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS (HD) or AIRDUC® PUR 355 FOOD (HD) for these applications. For the irrigation or spreading of insecticides and fertilizers as well as the use of barrel trailers for manure spreading and the like, we recommend the use of a full plastic hose such as the NORPLAST® PVC 379 GREEN SUPERELASTIC (MD), the NORPLAST® PVC 388 SUPERELASTIC (MD), NORPLAST® PVC 380 GREEN (HD) or the BARDUC® PVC 381 FOOD (HD), as these are ideally suited for these applications due to their excellent resistance to alkalis, acids and chemicals. For the ventilation of, for example, animal sheds, you can take advantage of the light and highly flexible polyurethane hoses PROTAPE® PUR 301 AS (XLD) and PROTAPE® PUR 330 AS (LD). Hoses of the AIRDUC® PUR 351 FOOD and AIRDUC® PUR 355 FOOD series can be used for animal feed transport because they have a longer service life due to their high abrasion resistance.

Which hoses are flexible even at low temperatures?
At low temperatures, the cold-flexible hoses AIRDUC® PUR 351 FOOD (MD) / PUR 355 AS (HD) / PUR 355 FOOD (HD) and NORPLAST® PVC 379 GREEN SUPERELASTIC (MD) can be used. The NORPLAST® PVC 388 SUPERELASTIC (MD) and 389 SUPERELASTIC PLUS (XHD) can also be used as alternatives to these products at low temperatures.
