NORRES awarded as TOP Employer
Employer attractiveness is important to NORRES – and the success proves NORRES with its HQ in Gelsenkirchen, Germany right. The award was presented by Wolfgang Clement, former federal minister of economy in Germany. The „TOP JOB“ mentor appreciated the NORRES group for its strategic and sustainable assurance for skilled labour and its steady and systematical development of its employers performance. It is the first top employer award for NORRES and its 300 employees.
The center for employers attractiveness, zeag GmbH, distinguishes companies that stand up for a healthy workplace culture in a remarkable way. This is reflected by the quality of leadership and the related job satisfaction as well as a low exhaustion values within the workforce. 120 medium-sized companies applied for the “TOP JOB” award. NORRES is one of the companies that is allowed to claim the seal for the next two years. In total 19.841 employees – 57% working in a family business – were interviewed. There are 25 local market leaders and 6 global market leaders among the “TOP JOB” winners. In average these companies have a size of workforce of about 414 employees – 28% of management positions are held by women.
NORRES was able to score in many different fields within the “TOP JOB” assessment, which gets awarded since 2002. Results of the assessment showed a high level of employees satisfaction regarding their tasks as well as social interaction and communication with colleagues and superiors. There is a high commitment to the business objective, the business culture and the communication. NORRES Group has a great share of motivated employees and a low level of employee fluctuation. This results in the fact that NORRES has many employees working with the company for many years.
