Applications and properties:
In the wood processing industry, whether in furniture production or in sawmills, wood dust and wood chips are produced that need to be vacuumed off. Likewise, wood dust must be vacuumed off in industrial saws, edge processing machines or, for example, inparquet flooring grinding machines. The hoses TIMBERDUC® PUR 531 AS (XLD) / PUR 532 AS (LD) / PUR 532 CNC (MD) / PUR 533 AS (MD) are developed for this purpose, thus are particularly suitable for the described applications. With the exception of the TIMBERDUC® PUR 532 CNC (MD) all these hoses are flame-resistant and antistatic.
Frequently asked questions:
Why should hoses for the wood processing industry be antistatic?
Since wood dust or wood chips are flammable, an antistatic hose should be used to vacuum them off. During the conveyance, an electrostatic charge can occur due to friction on the wall material, which can be discharged with a spark transition and thus the risk of the wood dust igniting. The use of antistatic hoses can prevent this risk.

Which hoses are suitable for CNC machines?
The TIMBERDUC® PUR 532 CNC (MD) has been specially developed for CNC machines and CNC machining centers (especially for fast moving systems).
